ORNARE Architecture Talk During Art Basel

News | December 5, 2011

Wallpaper* Magazine and Architizer hosted the first ORNARE Architecture Talk. Fred Bernstein, an architecture writer for The New York Times, lead the esteemed international architect panel including Tony Chambers, editor of Wallpaper*; Marc Kushner, Architizer CEO and Co-founder and principal architect at HWKN; and architects including Joao Armentano from Brazil; Chad Oppenheim and Rene Gonzalez from Miami; and Fernando Romero with offices in Mexico City and New York.

The guests included top architects from Miami and in town for Basel, as well as select design industry influencers. With Brazilian influence expanding across the globe, and international architects vying for a place to make a mark at the upcoming World Cup and Olympics set in Brazil, guests were engaged as the discussion explored the opportunities surrounding this new design frontier and the effect of the Brazilian boom on the world of design.
