Lenny Dykstra’s Former Home On Sale for $14.9 Million
The estate that belonged to former New York Mets and Philadelphia Phillies outfielder Lenny Dykstra returned to the Multiple Listing Service, this time for $14.9 million.
Dykstra filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection in the summer, and had purchased the six-and-a-half-acre compound in Thousand Oaks from Wayne Gretzky for $18.5 million in 2007. The mansion first came on the market in September 2008 at $24.9 million and was increased to $25 million a year later.
Richard Landry-designed the main house, which includes six bedrooms and eight bathrooms in 12,713 square feet of living space. The home also has a formal dining room, billiards room, screening room, and a receiving parlor. Karen Crystal of Ewing & Associates, Sotheby’s International Realty is the listing agent.
