Haute 100 Update: P. Diddy to Release Coffee Table Book ‘Culo’ in Celebration of Derrieres
Hip hop mogul Sean Combs a.k.a. P. Diddy has scores of successful projects under his belt – the latest of which is Culo, a coffee table photo book that pays appreciation to nothing but women’s derrieres, an appreciation the rapper is well known for. The entrepreneur has joined forces with Interscope Records chairman Jimmy Iovine with images taken by renowned fashion and music photographer Raphael Mazzucco.
News of the provocative new book was announced shortly after the music icon debuted his newest fragrance, called Sean John Empress, and enlisted fellow musician Kelly Rowland as its face and spokeswoman.
The album-style book contains pages loaded with “legendary photos of women’s backsides” and will be released this November 22. The book has already gained some attention as it debuted on-camera on HBO’s hit show Entourage and has been seen in the hands of several high-profile insiders.
