Haute Event: Symphonix Holiday Soiree at Leidesdorff

News | December 14, 2010

San Francisco’s hot new venue One Leidesdorff served as a space for the first-ever Symphonix Holiday Soiree on Dec. 2. The space, a newly renovated former bank, was decorated festively, lined up with Christmas trees while people sported “Jingle Bell” necklaces which were purchased at the event to raise money for the symphony’s Concert for the Kids program.

The event celebrates Symphonix’s sponsors: the sixth, seventh and eighth graders of the Megan Furth Academy, Horace Mann Middle School and DeMarillac Academy. These schools have provided music education to more than 35,000 school children each year.

Proceeds from the event will go to the San Francisco Symphony and its education and community programs, providing music education to over 75,000 Bay Area children each year.

Contributors included Leidesdorff, Merchants Exchange Productions, Brugal Rum and Black Star Beer.
