Sunday Motor Co.

The café that most immediately captures what the Nora District is trying to be. Founded in Madison, New Jersey by Nick and Renée Vorderman, Sunday Motor Co. is a car-lover’s café that is equally welcoming to people who have never looked under a hood. At 805 North Railroad Avenue, the space is filled with auto-themed accessories and memorabilia while the menu covers coffee, egg dishes, toast flights, sandwiches, and salads from morning through afternoon. Named for the Sunday gatherings of car collectors it was built around, Sunday Motor Co. brings a specific and genuinely interesting energy to a neighborhood still finding its social rhythm.

Pastis

The anchor restaurant of The Nora Hotel and the most significant new restaurant opening in West Palm Beach in years. Stephen Starr’s iconic Parisian-style brasserie occupies 13,300 square feet on the ground floor of The Nora Hotel at 1135 North Railroad Avenue, opening October 19, 2026. The fourth U.S. location of the celebrated restaurant brings the full Pastis formula to the Nora District: classic French brasserie dining, Pastis Privé as a private event venue alongside the main dining room, and STARR Restaurants handling in-room dining throughout the hotel.

Nami Nori

The hand roll concept founded in New York, with locations in the West Village, Williamsburg, and Miami’s Design District, is coming to 855 North Railroad Avenue in the Nora District and is expected to open in early 2027. The Japanese-inspired hand roll restaurant, developed by Launchpad Hospitality, will include an outdoor patio and bring a genuinely notable culinary credential to a neighborhood that is making a specific case for itself as a serious dining destination.

Van Leeuwen Ice Cream

The beloved New York artisan ice cream brand, known for its classic and vegan flavors in signature yellow cups, has become one of the anchor retail tenants in the Nora District. Van Leeuwen’s presence completes a pattern of New York institutions bringing their first or early Florida outposts to a neighborhood that has specifically positioned itself as the place those brands want to be.

IGK Salon

The anchor of the entire district, opening October 19, 2026, at 1135 North Railroad Avenue. Operated by BD Hotels and Sean MacPherson, the team behind Hotel Chelsea and The Bowery Hotel in New York, The Nora is a 201-room boutique hotel designed by GACHOT with interiors drawing on the Mediterranean and Spanish Colonial Revival legacy of 20th-century architect Addison Mizner. The ground floor houses Pastis. The rooftop houses Lillys, the three-area pool and dining concept from Mama Hospitality. Jack’s Bar anchors the lobby. Sisley Spa Paris, making its first Florida appearance, operates on property. Macs 44, an 80-seat performance supper club from Mama Hospitality, is a separate address at 825 N. Railroad Avenue in the Nora District, opening in December 2026 and open Tuesday through Sunday from 6 PM to 2 AM.
