What Made Them Haute: Loren and Jr Ridinger started their company Market America out of a garage in North Carolina. Since doing so, the Ridinger’s company has generated more than $2.5 billion in accumulated retail sales. The famous power couple have made a name for themselves not only in the world of internet commerce, but also as business socialites, entertaining the likes of Eva Longoria, Shakira, Alicia Keys and Swizz Beats to name a few.

What Makes Them Haute Now: Last weekend, Loren Ridinger hosted a fabulous event for Vouge’s Yves Saint Laurent 2001 cruise collection during Art Basel Week in Miami. The Ridinger’s mega mansion in Miami Beach was the sanctuary of the ultra-exclusive event, opened only to the who’s who of socialites, celebrities and moguls. Russell Simmons, Serena Williams, Alejandro Sanz, Eva Longoria and many more topped the private list. The elite guests sipped on Champagne and were the first to witness the never before seen YSL 2011 cruise collection.
