Haute Event: Grand Opening of Wellendorff Opens San Francisco
On Thursday, Oct. 28, Wellendorff jewelers held the grand opening event for their first North American boutique at Shreve & Co. in the heart of San Francisco. The Wellendorff boutique is its own entity within Shreve & Co.’s Post Street store, San Francisco’s oldest retailer. The boutique is complete with its very own viewing area and coffee bar.
For more than 115 years, Wellendorff has led the world’s jewelry industry with its unique hand-crafted pieces, attention to detail, and all-around exquisiteness. The company is guided by the fourth generation of the Wellendorff family, managed by Christoph Wellendorf, who explains, “To us, San Francisco is the right place to be. The city has a spirit of innovation and sophistication. I love the San Francisco passion for the arts — the opera and ballet, and the finer things in life such as fine wine and cuisine.”
In honor of its grand opening, Wellendorff has designed a special ring that will only be available at the San Francisco location.
