Michael Kors Just Opened a Boutique Inside Palm Beach’s Most Iconic Pink Hotel

Michael Kors Collection has opened a new boutique at The Colony Hotel in Palm Beach for a long-term residency.

With Palm Beach season on the horizon, Michael Kors has landed in South Florida at the perfect time. Palm Beach has always had a talent for attracting exactly the right things at exactly the right moment — and the opening of a Michael Kors Collection boutique at The Colony Hotel is very much that. The new store, which opened September 3, 2026, brings the designer’s most elevated line to one of the island’s most storied addresses, and the pairing makes an almost obvious kind of sense. Two icons of American glamour, sharing a zip code at last.

Michael Kors has loved Palm Beach since the early 1980s. “I have always and will always love Palm Beach,” the designer said. “It is one of those places that defines American glamour at its best.” His arrival at The Colony Hotel — the pink landmark steps from Worth Avenue and the Atlantic Ocean — is less a new relationship than a long-overdue formalization of one.

The boutique is designed to feel like a room rather than a retail space. An open layout draws on linen upholstery, warm walnut wood, and sisal rugs — materials that nod to Palm Beach’s natural beauty while echoing the spare luxuriousness of Kors’s Madison Avenue flagship. Walnut shelving, travertine, and steel provide a quiet backdrop for the Collection’s handbags, accessories, and ready-to-wear, all curated specifically for this location and this clientele.

The store opens with the pre-fall Collection: impeccably tailored separates, delicately draped dresses, and fluid layers in wisteria, amethyst, black, and white — a palette that reads like Palm Beach itself at its most considered. Artisanal handbags, footwear, sunglasses, jewelry, and small leather goods round out the offering, each piece selected with the resort lifestyle in mind.

For The Colony, the partnership extends something the hotel has been building intentionally. “Central to who we are is the belief that great hospitality is immersive and experiential, and that our Pink Paradise is much more than a hotel,” said Sarah Wetenhall, Owner and CEO of The Colony Hotel. “Michael Kors Collection is an exceptional addition to that world.” The boutique is a long-term residency — not a pop-up, not a seasonal installation — which signals exactly how seriously both brands are taking what they’ve built together here.
