Mariah Carey Stars in Gucci’s Holiday 2026 Gift Campaign
The Queen of Christmas checks into a Harmony Korine–directed hotel takeover in Gucci’s new Butterfly special collection, alongside a gift edit of Starlet, GG Marmont and Horsebit icons.
Gucci is calling it: the holiday season has officially begun. On November 2, 2026, the Florentine House unveiled its new Gucci Gift Campaign, a full-scale holiday takeover starring none other than Mariah Carey — the singer whose name has become all but synonymous with the season itself. Pairing Carey’s joyful spirit with the House’s bold, playful attitude, the campaign celebrates her standing as a cultural icon and a fixture of the most anticipated moment of the year.
The accompanying film is directed by Harmony Korine, and it unfolds inside a hotel transformed in anticipation of Carey’s arrival. Elaborate decorations and preparations for the celebrations ahead give the setting an exuberant, distinctly Gucci character — and as the opening notes of “All I Want For Christmas Is You” return, the season arrives with a sense of occasion and a touch of magic. It is a fitting stage for an artist whose holiday anthem resurfaces like clockwork each year, and a clever bit of casting for a House eager to own the festive conversation.

Throughout the video, Carey illuminates the scene in the new Butterfly special collection, inspired by the iridescence of the butterfly. The reference is no accident: the butterfly has long been the singer’s signature motif, and it is also the name of her 1997 album. The result is a wardrobe that feels personal to its star while still reading unmistakably as Gucci.
Alongside the film, Gucci has released a separate series of images showcasing the House’s curated selection of gifts, spanning expressive designs and recognizable House signatures across handbags, footwear and accessories. Shimmering editions of the Starlet, the Gucci duffle and the GG Marmont bags sit alongside the Paparazzo in soft suede, offering distinctive pieces for gifting and festive dressing. Footwear runs from GG Monogram boots and Horsebit loafers to Ace sneakers and Vittoria pumps, while hats and scarves round out the winter essentials — inspiration, as the House puts it, for celebrations, winter escapes and the many moments shared during the holidays.
The campaign lands during a busy stretch for the House. Just days ago, Gucci marked a new chapter in Paris with its Avenue Montaigne flagship, following the Guccicore campaign earlier this fall. Founded in Florence in 1921, Gucci today operates under the leadership of President and CEO Francesca Bellettini and the artistic direction of Demna, continuing to redefine luxury while celebrating creativity, Italian craftsmanship and innovation. The House is part of the global luxury group Kering.
With Carey at the center and Korine behind the camera, Gucci’s holiday message is clear — this year, the season starts in Gucci. Discover the full gift selection at gucci.com.
