On May 22, 2026, Chanel opened an ephemeral boutique on Newtown Lane in East Hampton—a 1,995-square-foot, two-level space that takes the House’s signature codes and filters them through the particular ease of a summer destination. It is, in the best possible sense, Chanel with the windows open.

The white-brick storefront at 17 Newtown Lane has been reimagined as a Parisian-inspired summer retreat, with the House’s black-and-white palette woven throughout a space designed to feel both immersive and unhurried. The ground floor sets the tone immediately with the Chanel Coco Beach 2026 collection—bright, colorful, and entirely attuned to where it’s landed. Oversized denim totes, raffia-braided flap bags, gold shell-inspired costume jewelry, and striped silks in vivid hues unfold across the space, with the latest shoe styles displayed along the right-hand wall. In the rear corner, an intimate ready-to-wear salon offers printed twill sets, bright swimwear, sporty athleisure separates, and airy maxi dresses—each piece chosen with the destination in mind.

Upstairs, the atmosphere shifts. The upper level takes on a warm, residential character—a living area that offers a genuine moment of pause—with a curated selection from the Spring Summer 2026 collection presented throughout.
