Michael Kors Hosts Immersive Event With Bella Hadid & Celebrity Guests At Dolby Soho To Introduce 2019 Ad Campaign

To launch the new MICHAEL Michael Kors Spring 2019 ad campaign starring none other than Bella Hadid, the brand hosted a digital experience at Dolby Soho space in downtown New York City. Guests were immersed in the campaign, utilizing Dolby’s high-tech audio and visual capabilities, playing campaign videos, as well as imagery.

The campaign was shot by world-renowned photographer David Sims, showcasing a contemporary version of the idea of being a “jetsetter,” which his reflected in his emphasis on speed, energy and optimism. To mirror the campaign, five different spaces were created for guests to experience within the space. Guests in attendance included the designer himself, Bella Hadid, Camilla Belle, Caro Daur, Olivia Palermo, Zhengyang Zhang, TK Wonder and more.

The Infinity Space:
The Infinity Space touted the recognizable MK charm displayed on an endless wall of Dolby Vision-enabled televisions, in various bright treatments. Guests were also able utilize the Hypno BODY cameras that were available to capture the content for themselves and even share in real time.

The Experience Room:
The Experience Room was fully projection-mapped allowing guests to capture their perspective in the room, which featured the campaign graphics. The 1,000-square-foot room was fitted with Dolby Atmos audio as well for optimal sound.

The Studio:
The Studio is where guests were able to become the stars of their very own MK Spring 2019 ad campaign, where props like a trampoline, as well as clothing and accessories were available at their disposal to style themselves, and Hypno AIR cameras captured the content to keep and to share.

The Downstairs:
The Downstairs was another room that prominently featured the MK charm in over-the-top, life-sized versions that were reimagined in creative ways, such as in the form of a swing and in a see-saw. Guests were able to interact with the logo while mirroring the optimism and the focus of movement represented in the campaign itself. The Hypno ICON technology created neon shadows of the guests’ movements, while DJ Francois K provided music and entertainment all night from the Dolby DJ Lab.

The Virtual Forest: 
The Virtual Forest was another room was also fitted with 18 Dolby screens, which were further enhanced with their 3D capabilities.
