The 2019 Pegasus World Cup Invitational brought out A-listers and celebrities for a day of racing, betting, dining and drinking on some of Miami’s most renowned offerings. Despite the rain, Gulfstream Park was packed to the brim with race-goers dressed to impress for the highly-anticipated affair.

Taking home the grand prize was this year’s winner, City of Light, leaving the day with the impressive $4 million Pegasus World Cup winner’s purse. After a close battle, City of Light pulled through as the winner, upsetting competitor Accelerate in the final race—marking City of Light’s Second win against Accelerate.
