For five days this February, two great titans of the drinking world are coming together for a special New York collaboration. Dante, ranked as #16 in list of the world’s best bars, will be coming to Gramercy Tavern for a five-day residency. While in town, Dante is bringing a specialty martini menu titled “The Martini Hour”.

Created by Dante’s Naren Young, a specialty apertivo menu will be served as well at Gramercy Tavern bar from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm every day though Friday February 9th.

The drinks will range from more classic iterations of the martini to those with more nuance and creativity in their creation. The Olive Oil martini features olive oil washed vodka, olive vermouth, olive bitters, olive mist, and house-cured olives. The Rose Petal martini is made with Hendrick’s Gin, manzanilla, lychee, Peychaud’s Bitters, saline, and rosewater—for those looking for a more refreshing take on the classic cocktail.

The Gramercy Tavern is also famous for being a great restaurant in addition to cocktail program, and will be serving antipasti pairings created by Gramercy’s Chef Michael Anthony. The dishes include crab salad with pepper sauce, beef frittata with blue cheese, and lobster with balsamic caviar, among others. For those looking to experience two of the greatest bars in the city in one classic cocktail, this is the time to do so.
