These Formula 1 drivers are not just owning the tracks, but also the catwalk. Pal Zileri was announced as the official menswear designer to the F1 drivers, who will take centre-stage at this year’s benefit in aid of local charity Fundación Origen, helping those who are suffering in the aftermath of the recent devastating earthquakes.

Amber Lounge founder and CEO, Sonia Irvine, said “I’m proud to say we have a very special fashion show in prospect this year and the announcement that Pal Zileri will be dressing the F1 drivers is the icing on the cake. With so many guests and high-profile international media in attendance, we always strive to create an impact. This year, however, impact takes on another important meaning, as we will be raising vital funds for the people of Mexico City who have suffered in the wake of the recent earthquakes. It’s going to be quite a show.”

The fashion show is the prelude to a weekend of unmissable Amber Lounge entertainment at the third occasion of the Mexico Grand Prix, providing a rare glimpse of the F1 drivers beyond the racetrack, showcasing their individual style and sartorial elegance. Tradition and innovation are the watchwords of Pal Zileri’s Fall/Winter 2017-18 collection: a modern urban aesthetic and the perfect fit for F1’s brave, young heroes. Silhouettes are softly-tailored, sleek and sophisticated, with single or double-breasted suits tempered by lightweight wool and silk turtlenecks or striped silk and cotton shirts.
