This newly named Virginia Highland spot, is nothing new when it comes to the experience in the kitchen. Owner and Chef Tom Catherall, known for his award-winning fare and restaurants such as Prime, is back in the old Noche spot. This time, however, the menu focus is: tacos. And they are fantastic. The absolute must-try is the Lobster taco, made with fajita peppers, onions, contija cheese and cascabel chili sauce. Of course, the lobster stars in this taco with its freshness.

2 The Original El Taco

The Original El Taco, a lively taqueria in the heart of Virginia-Highland, dishes up a variety of individual tacos perfect for mixing and matching. Fan favorites include the pork carnitas taco, served with slightly spicy chili sauce, sweet pineapple and slaw on a corn tortilla, and the fried fish taco with creamy caper mayo and picked chiles.
