This newly named Virginia Highland spot, is nothing new when it comes to the experience in the kitchen. Owner and Chef Tom Catherall, known for his award-winning fare and restaurants such as Prime, is back in the old Noche spot. This time, however, the menu focus is: tacos. And they are fantastic. The absolute must-try is the Lobster taco, made with fajita peppers, onions, contija cheese and cascabel chili sauce. Of course, the lobster stars in this taco with its freshness.

The Original El Taco, a lively taqueria in the heart of Virginia-Highland, dishes up a variety of individual tacos perfect for mixing and matching. Fan favorites include the pork carnitas taco, served with slightly spicy chili sauce, sweet pineapple and slaw on a corn tortilla, and the fried fish taco with creamy caper mayo and picked chiles. Don’t forget to check the chalkboard for a unique selection of special tacos created by executive chef Jack McGinn!

At this downtown Mexican mainstay, fried avocado tacos are a favorite of carnivores and herbivores alike. The tasty taco trio comes served with crispy queso cotija, poblano pesto and roasted tomato on corn tortillas alongside a hearty serving of black beans and poblano chile rice.

A casual, laid back cool spot in Brookhaven where you can grab a margarita and nosh on some great tacos. Don't leave without tasting the Fried Calamari, Dusted in cornmeal with fried jalapeños, coleslaw, & jalapeño ranch sauce or any of their other tacos for that matter.

A line out the door is not uncommon at this Westside jaunt. Simply, their tacos are worth the wait. Favorites include the Memphis Taco with smoked Pork and spicy jalapeno coleslaw topped with tequila barbecue sauce.
