The sold-out event included a cocktail reception and dinner, as well as a live fundraising program, led by Christie’s auctioneer Lydia Fenet. The evening’s proceeds went to benefiting the Associates Committee’s newest initiative to fund research for Clinical Genomic Profiling for Pediatric Cancer Patients. This project works to identify gene mutations that lead to cancer development. Clinical Genomic Profiling is a critical venture, as it will help MSK researchers and clinicians create a new paradigm of diagnosis and treatment based on specific molecular mechanisms of pathogenesis.
