Miami nightlife impresarios don’t get married every day. So it was a pretty big deal for the city’s movers and shakers when LIV owner Dave Grutman, 35, tied the knot with Brazilian model, Isabel Rangel, 24, in spectacular fashion. It began with a proposal on an oversize mural by graffiti artist HG, in which Rangel checked a “yes.”
There was a glittering, paparazzi-heavy arrival by Kim Kardashian, Kayne West and Kourtney Kardashian, who both wore revealing outfits keeping the tabloids buzzing that Miami guests are not afraid to show a lot of skin. The bride herself rocked a fashionable deep-V gown befitting of a model.
Other boldface names included Michael Bay, Ryan Seacrest, Gabrielle Union, Don and Michele Soffer, Jeffrey Chodorow, Scottie and Larsa Pippen, Stacy Keibler and DJs David Guetta, A-Trak, Kaskade Using the new event space at the Wynwood Walls as a backdrop for the nuptials, Grutman went big with a wedding that turned into a dance floor bacchanal.
There were 500 guest to witnessed the nuptials at Wynwood Walls. They were married by celebrity pastor Rich Wilkerson Jr., a.k.a. Pastor Rick, who married Kim and Kanye back in 2014 and has Trinity Church in Wynwood.
Following the nuptials, a lux reception took place with Kanye reliving his VMA moment by saying “Jason, I’m gonna let you finish, but Dave and Isabela had one of the best weddings of all time!” with a laugh. Noah Tepperberg also toasted the couple before the guests took to the dance floor to dance the night away in a makeshift night club. Some days later, after families left and hangovers cleared, the bride and groom took off to Asia, visiting Japan and Thailand.
