The best entertainers in show business were honored by The British Academy of Film and Television Arts Los Angeles® (BAFTA Los Angeles) on Friday night at The 2015 Jaguar Land Rover British Academy Britannia Awards.

Honorees included Academy Award-nominated director Sam Mendes with the John Schlesinger Britannia Award for Excellence in Directing presented by the GREAT Britain Campaign; Academy Award and BAFTA Award-winning actress, Meryl Streep with the Stanley Kubrick Britannia Award for Excellence in Film; Emmy Award-winning comedian Amy Schumer with the Charlie Chaplin Britannia Award for Excellence in Comedy presented by Kodak; Award-winning actor and late night talk show host James Corden with the Britannia Award for British Artist of the Year presented by Burberry; Award-winning actor Orlando Bloom with the Britannia Humanitarian Award presented by The Beazley Group; and award-winning actor Harrison Ford received the Albert R. Broccoli Britannia Award for Worldwide Contribution to Entertainment.

The Beverly Hilton-held event was hosted by British comedian Jack Whitehall—a discovery of late night host Corden—while presenters included J.J. Abrams, Bryan Cranston, Robert Downey Jr., Stephen Frears, Saoirse Ronan and Seth MacFarlane.

Attendees at the event—which will air on Nov. 6 on Pop in the U.S.—included Shohreh Aghdashloo, Mel B, John Boyega, Steve Carell, Lily Collins, John Crowley, Nigel Lythgoe, Adam McKay, Les Moonves, Julie Chen, Lesley Nicol, SheJ Nikki Pennie, Lauren Samuels, Jane Seymour, Jeremy Strong, Victoria Summer, Fuschia Sumner, Annabelle Wallis and Ed Westwick.

The Britannia Awards were presented by Jaguar Land Rover, which had a noticeable presence at the ceremony. Not only did Bloom, Corden, Mendes, Westwick and Mcfarlene travel to the awards in the prestigious vehicles, such as Jaguar XJR and Range Rover Sports, but both brands had cars on site that will be featured in James Bond’s upcoming 24th adventure, Spectre.

The Jaguar C-X75, Range Rover Sport SVR and Land Rover Defender were showcased at the ceremony, and rightfully so given that Spectre‘s director, Sam Mendes, was one of the evening’s honorees. The Jaguar C-X75 will be featured in a spectacular car chase sequence through Rome alongside the Aston Martin DB10 when the film hits theaters this Friday, Nov. 6. The C-X75 vehicles have been built in collaboration with Williams Advanced Engineering facility in Oxfordshire, England.

The film also includes scenes featuring the heavily modified Land Rover Defender & Range Rover Sport SVR, which were filmed in Austria. The highly capable Defender vehicles were constructed by the Special Operations division with huge 37-inch diameter off-road tires to tackle the extreme terrain.
