IfOnly You Could Enjoy The Best of SF; Here’s How

Trevor Traina has done it again. The prince of San Francisco who opened the doors for us to one-of-a-kind experiences, such as dinner prepared at home by Gary Danko, hot-air balloon rides over Mt. Everest and tennis lessons with Andre Agassi, through his premium experiential marketplace  IfOnly.com this week launched a Local San Francisco category that will allow you an expansive array of activities to enjoy with some of our favorite SF stars. Think baking Kara’s Cupcakes with Kara herself, participating in an intense workout with Kelly Starrett, the founder of San Francisco CrossFit and MobilityWOD, critiquing a restaurant with San Francisco Chronicle’s restaurant critic Michael Bauer, going on a ride with one of the founders of mountain biking, Otis Guy and enjoying an intimate and hands-on oyster educational session with the Bay Area’s oyster master Eric Hyman of the Waterbar.

We had a chance to be among the first to participate in Waterbar’s Oyster Experience and think you’ll absolutely love getting up close and personal with Hyman, who will teach you how to properly shuck and serve oysters, about the different types and regions, preferred champagne and wine pairings and the art of picking the right oyster sauce. The cherry on top of this experience is while indulging in the best oysters and wine – pairings led by Wine Director Steven Izzo – you’ll also get to soak in the spectacular views of the Bay from this waterfront eatery.

Other experiences in the Local San Francisco category include a Private Tour of Grace Cathedral, a class on how to cook the “Famous” Marlowe burger in the restaurant’s kitchen with its chef/inventor Jennifer Puccio and an Intimate Tasting and Tour from the prestigious Staglin Family. All local experiences are priced from $15 up to $500 per person. In addition, a portion of the proceeds from each experience are donated to a charity of the luminary’s choice.

“We are excited to offer fun regional opportunities like oyster education with the top expert in Tomales Bay or cooking in San Francisco with a Food Network star,” says Traina, CEO and founder of IfOnly. “In a place as interesting as the Bay Area, there is no reason why every weekend should not involve once-in-a-lifetime experiences, particularly as they benefit great causes.”

Look for IfOnly to expand this local concept to other U.S. cities, including Napa, Sonoma, Los Angeles and New York City. To view or purchase these exclusive San Francisco experiences, visit IfOnly.com/SF.
