The beauty of California’s famed wine country is not just the landscape and the wine but the cultural offerings as well. As we prepare to head into summer, when you’ll want to head east to escape the chill of San Francisco, here’s a look at the hautest summer concert series taking place at Bay Area wineries this season. The Robert Mondavi Winery Summer Concert Series is back for its 46th year and promises to be just as exciting as ever with Grammy Award-winning artists Lyle Lovett and Melissa Etheridge as well as New Orleans natives Trombone Shorty and Orleans Avenue and more. The latest edition gets underway on Saturday, July 4th with legendary rock band The Wallflowers and special guest Andrew McMahon in the Wilderness. The concert will be followed by a spectacular vineyard fireworks display.
This wine, food and music event has truly evolved into the highlight of summer in the Napa Valley. The concerts will continue through the summer with additional performances on July 11, 18, 25 and August 1. In addition to the musical performances, food will be provided this year by Off The Grid, Vintage Sweet Shoppe and Ben & Jerry’s Ice Cream. Here is the complete 2015 Summer Concert Schedule:

Doors open at 5 p.m. with performances beginning at 7 p.m. at the Robert Mondavi Winery, 7801 St. Helena Highway in Oakville, Napa Valley.
Ticket prices vary by performance. Proceeds from ticket sales will directly benefit Napa Valley music programs. Over the last 46 years, more than $2 million has been raised to support a number of Napa Valley-based charitable organizations as a result of the Robert Mondavi Winery Summer Concert Series.

Back for its 29th year is The Concerts at Wente Vineyards, which take place in the heart of Livermore Valley’s wine country. As Northern California’s most unique concert experience, Wente Vineyards will host a summer of top name headliners in its beautiful vineyard. With a variety of ticket options, guests can choose from a number of different dining and seating choices. The Restaurant Front Row ticket includes stage-front seating, a four-course dinner at the award-winning The Restaurant at Wente Vineyards prior to the show, reserved parking, tax and gratuity. Prices for Restaurant Front Row tickets start at $279.
Tickets inclusive of a buffet-style wine country inspired dinner by Catering at Wente Vineyards are available by reservation and include tables on the lawn, seating eight or ten guests. This option provides guests with a view of the concert from their dining table. These tickets include Premium Outdoor Dining and Mezzanine Outdoor Dining, which offer various seating locations within the concert area. The price of the ticket includes seating, the evening’s performance, and the buffet style dinner served from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m., tax and gratuity. Prices start from $259.
Tickets without dinner options are sold at prices starting at $79, and allow guests the option to dine at The Grill at Wente Vineyards prior to the show. Wine and non-alcoholic beverages are not included in the price of tickets, but may be purchased separately at the show.
