This August will see the world’s top-ranked restaurant, El Celler de Can Roca, come to Miami’s SeaFair mega-yacht. The 55-person restaurant opened in Girona, Spain in 1986, and is led by the Roca Brothers, Joan Roca, Josep Roca, and Jordi Roca. Just a few days ago, Ell Celler de Can Roca won first place at the prestigious 2015 World’s 50 Best Restaurant Awards. It also has three Michelin stars.
As a testament to its number one position, most diners that eat there they feel the food is so amazingly good, and the experience so perfect that trying to describe it with mere words is a disservice. Suffice it to say, meals at El Celler de Can Roca are a three to four hour affair of tantalizing tastes, and seamless service. So it’s kind  of a big deal that it’s coming to Miami to offer up it’s special brand of haute cuisine.
That’s right, the restaurant will bring a 40-person staff to recreate the restaurant here in Miami this summer. They will be serving up an 18-course menu that brings an innovative approach to traditional Catalan flavors. But instead of a quiet Spanish town, diners will be able to take in the skyline of downtown Miami from aboard the SeaFairMiami, the fourth largest private yacht in America at 228 feet. Just be advised, you might have to know someone pretty important to score an invitation.
