In honor of Pretty Woman’s 25th anniversary, Jason of Beverly Hills has partnered with The Beverly Wilshire to offer fans an unforgettable experience.

Jason Arasheben, jewelry designer and CEO of Jason of Beverly Hills, was commissioned to create a necklace inspired by the beautiful piece worn by Julia Roberts for the film’s silver anniversary. The iconic romantic comedy about a businessman (Richard Gere) who falls in love with the down-on-her-luck hooker with a heart of gold (Roberts) who he’s hired as an event escort has an estimated gross of $463.4 million and is considered to be one of the most financially successful romcoms ever made.

The “Lady in Red” necklace is valued at $500,000 and is comprised of 351 round brilliant white diamonds and 27 natural rubelites, which were meticulously set onto 83 grams of 18 karat white gold. The necklace, with a total carat weight of 43.20 carats of white diamonds and more than 105 carats of rubelite, took nearly six months to produce.

The necklace is currently on display at Beverly Wilshire as part of the Hotel’s selection of Pretty Woman-themed experiences. Also included in the exhibit is a stunning replica of the gorgeous red gown worn during the memorable jewelry box scene, the script from the movie, a pair of opera glasses, and the original letter from the general manager of Beverly Wilshire during the film shoot to director Gary Marshall congratulating him and Touchstone Pictures on the success of the film; an iPad is conveniently located next to the display for guests to snap photos and instantly share with friends and family via social media.
