In an absolute stroke of genius cross promotion, Disney has tapped nine of fashion’s best shoe designers to give new life to Cinderella’s glass slipper for Saks Fifth Avenue. The names are as follows: Jimmy Choo, Nicholas Kirkwood, Charlotte Olympia, Stuart Weitzman, Salvatore Ferragamo, Paul Andrew, Alexandre Birman, René Caovilla and Jerome Rousseau. Swarovski has provided the crystals for the embellishments, just as they did for the movie’s shimmering costumes.

Unlike the prince, you won’t have to chase anyone to get a look at these gems, just make your way to Saks Fifth Avenue Bal Harbour between March 12th and March 18th and you’ll get to see them all. Of course, if you’re looking for a more lasting relationship, you’ll be able to custom order a pair this month.

Bal Harbour isn’t the only Saks location to get swept away in the magic—their New York City flagship will fill six windows with Cinderella-inspired vignettes and Saks Beverly Hills will have a few as well.

Walt Disney Studio’s live action movie starring Sir Kenneth Branagh, Cate Blanchett, and Helena Bonham Carter comes out March 13th. Judging by the cast and a few spectacular previews, it looks like a really good one. Still, its going to be tough to top the shoes.
