Haute Scene : Chopard Presents the 21st Annual Elton John AIDS Foundation Oscar Viewing Party
As prestigious as the Academy Awards are, the hautest ticket in town this Oscar Sunday was the 21st Annual Elton John Aids Foundation Oscar Viewing party, presented by Chopard. Guests including Chopard Co-President Caroline Scheufele, Elton’s husband David Furnish and their two-year-old son Zachary, as well as Petra Nemcova, Michael Buble, Bernie Taupin, Bono, Britney Spears, the Kardashian sisters, Jeffrey Katzenberg, Chelsea Handler, Dave Grohl and Heidi Klum. Stars noshed on a five-course menu from Gordon Ramsay and were treated to a live performance by British songbird Emeli Sande. A lively auction for items like a VIP performance from Sir Elton himself contributed to raising $6 million for the EJAF; Audi provided transportation to the Pacific Design Center-held event.
