Sarah Jessica Parker and Jeremy Piven Attend Miami Rhapsody Party At Coral Gables Country Club

The red carpet was rolled out in Little Havana last night at the Tower Theater for a private screening of Miami Rhapsody, that served as an extra early kickoff to next month’s Miami International Film Festival. The festival is celebrating its 30^th  Anniversary this year and is pulling out all the stops.  Sarah Jessica Parker, Jeremy Piven, and Carla Gugino, who all starred in the 1995 blockbuster, as well as Miami native David Frankel were in attendance.  The actors and Frankel answered questions in a tiny theater during a short Q&A, and then were ushered out before the screening.

Later on, a swanky cast reunion party ensued at the Coral Gables Country Club, where guests sipped Bacardi cocktails and snacked on hors d’oeuvres while the actors mingled in a VIP area. Jeremy Piven mingled with guests in the VIP while SJP caught up with friends from the flick. If you were lucky enough to get behind the ropes, you would see that the original spark that lit up the screen in the 1995 Miami Film Festival was back.
