Kanye West Signed Nike Air Yeezy 2 Sneakers Sell for $98,900 at Auction

A pair Nike Air Yeezy 2 sneakers, designed, worn and autographed by Kanye West, sold for $99,000 via a charity auction benefiting Hurricane Sandy victims. The original pair of shoes were released in June 2012 and retailed for $245. West’s Nike creation drew so much attention that fans camped out just to try and score a pair. A similar pair recently sold for $90,000 in a bidding war on eBay.
