Patrick Tardieu

Patrick Tardieu is the co-founder and CEO of luxury line Bogosse alongside brother Fabrice Tardieu. A native of Port-au-Prince, Haiti, before founding Bogosse, Tardieu traveled the world as professional soccer player. He was captain of the Senior National Soccer Team of Haiti and the first Haitian player signed to a United States major soccer team. Upon moving to the U.S. in 1993, Tardieu created Tarimex International Freight Forwarders, the number one freight forwarding/ shipping company in Haiti. Trading in his jersey for a suit for good, Tardieu co-founded Soccer Management Services (SMS) in 2002, aiming to scout and manage Haitian soccer talents for international teams. The following year, Tardieu and his brother began to lay the groundwork for Bogosse, with hopes to shed a positive light on Haiti. The exclusive line has since grown to become one of the hautest (and most imitated) luxury lines in Europe.

From the poorest country in the world to successful businessman, entrepreneur, and clothing designer, Tardieu’s story serves as an inspiration to all. Unlike many, he has truly never forgotten his humble beginnings. At the end of the day, each of his global endeavors serves to better his native Haiti.
