Italian shipyard Permare is now using Twitter to promote the progress of its latest yacht under construction, the Amer 92.
Well, here’s a new use for social media: Twitter users can now follow the progress of the construction of the latest Amer 92 motor yacht while it’s being built at Italian shipyard Permare.
“We like to experiment with unusual ways to promote our models,” said Permare co-owner Barbara Amerio. “The internet is a huge shop window, but how to capture the attention the followers and send a positive message? Our idea is to show the work in progress at our shipyard and give the public access to hidden processes usually known only by technicians and professionals.”
