L.A. Hits The Runway as Fashion Week Begins

Today marks the beginning of Los Angeles’ Fashion Week, for ten days, A-list celebrities, journalists, and fashionistas will watch runway models strut their stuff wearing top designer labels and the newest, trendiest styles.  Fashion Week is all over LA, from cocktail parties to cathedrals theirs an array of events to choose from; of course some are invite only so make sure you know a guy who knows a guy if your trying to get into some of the more exclusive shows.

But one that is open to the general public is the charity show, “Attire to Aspire” at the Conga Room, a fundraiser for Breathe L.A.-a non-for-profit organization focusing on improving air quality and lung health.  The Thursday evening cocktail party features a runway show from designers Moods of Norway, Yotam Solomon and VBN.  The event also features a silent auction benefitting Breathe L.A.

If your looking for a fashion show that’s a little more off the beaten path, try Style Fashion Week L.A. This runway show is in the former St. Vibiana’s Cathedral, one the most unique venues at this years Fashion Week.  The invite only event runs from March 12-16 and features runway shows by Stop Staring!, Ina Soltani, XCVI, Skingraft and L’une Collection by Anh Volcek.
