Dori’s World: The Holidays In Aspen And Cabo

TO KICK THINGS OFF this holiday season, I went to Florida with my family for some rest and relaxation in the sun.

Following a few days in the Sunshine State, I was off to Cabo San Lucas to bump shoulders with celebs such as Leonardo DiCaprio, George Clooney, Alex Rodriguez and Julia Louis-Dreyfus at an amazing party at the Hotel Dorado hosted by the owner, Mike Meldman. My friends, Lizzie Grubman, Drew McCourt and Jay Luchs were also in attendance to enjoy the festivities.

The fetes didn’t end there. After Cabo I was off to Aspen for a dinner party hosted by my good friend Denise Rich. Among the invitees were J.P. Murray, Coralie Charriol Paul, Dennis Paul, Ulla Parker and Rena Sindi. The next day, Rich threw a lunch party at Cloud Nine, which was nothing short of fabulous. It was so great to mingle with so many people in Aspen, like Ugo Colombo, Eddie and Brooke Gershel, Maria Buccellati and Ali Wise.

To cap the holidays off, I traveled to L.A. to visit Alex von Furstenberg, Jason Pomeranc and Elizabeth Guber. It was the perfect way to end such a great Christmas and New Year’s.
