Join local celebrities and VIPs this Tuesday, October 11, 2011, for TNDC’s Celebrity Pool Toss, San Francisco’s wettest and wildest fundraiser. The event will raise money for the Tenderloin Neighborhood Development Corporation (TNDC), whose mission is “to provide safe, affordable housing with support services for low-income people in the Tenderloin Community and be a leader in making the neighborhood a better place to live”. Funds raised will also benefit family programs serving over 3,000 extremely low-income individuals in San Francisco’s Tenderloin and nearby neighborhoods.
The 19th annual pool toss will be loads of fun when Bay Area famed VIPs are tossed in the pool in the courtyard of the Phoenix Hotel/Chambers Eat + Drink.
Celebrity emcees include MC Hammer, Chip Conley, Cheryl Jennings, Liam Mayclem, Yigit Pura, Tori Ritchie, Empress XXX Donna Sachet, and Jan Wahl.
Celebrities to be tossed include Drew Altizer, Alexa Arena, Whitney Arnautou, Erin and Bryana Cullen, Don Falk, Jane Kim, John Pritzker, Team Twitter, and Charles Zukow.
The evening festivities will include entertainment by The Fabulous Bud E. Luv Show, Samba do Coração and DJ Rafa, a high-energy live auction led by an auctioneer from Bonhams, The Laugh Box photo booth, and the extremely toned lifeguards from Gold’s Gym who will be on hand to rescue any celebrities who can’t swim–or who just want to be rescued!
