LeBron James and Sprite Team Up for the Boys & Girls Club of Miami-Dade

Art and basketball are coming together to help encourage Miami’s youth. On Saturday September 17^th, LeBron James and David “LEBO” Le Batard will team up to celebrate the basketball court renovations at the Kendall Club location of the Boys & Girls Club of Miami-Dade, in an effort to promote healthy lifestyles for children. This event is part of Sprite’s initiative to encourage daily activity and healthy living in Miami.

Sprite is donating $15,000 to the Kendall location to renovate the outside basketball court and to have a mural painted by Miami’s own LEBO, a project James and the artist will help unveil by signing the wall and giving attendees a photo opportunity. Prior to the big day, a lucky group of 30 children from the local Club will participate in a basketball clinic, where James will make a surprise appearance. Both James and LEBO will be available afterwards for a question and answer session.
