Haute 100 Update: Ralph Lauren Launches Denim & Supply – Earthier and Rugged with an Emphasis on Individuality
Fashion legend Ralph Lauren has launched a new line called Denim & Supply, available today online – but don’t expect to see any pastel polos. The line is an edgier, more downtown take on the brand’s celebrated American heritage roots with an added emphasis on creating a rugged, individualized style.
While the new line still holds true to some more iconic Ralph Lauren sensibilities, it also takes on an earthy, hipster feel with a penchant for “found” pieces, like a perfectly distressed pair of jeans or a soft, faded T-shirt.
The eclectic vibe of the debut collection drifts through rooted American genres, like Navajo, nautical, and surplus, and captures the essence of finding a great vintage piece and adding a fresh spirit to it. The pieces range in price from $39.50 – $298 and the line is divided into three parts – Into the Wild, The Lodge, and The Wharf – all available starting today on their website.
