Antiquorum to Auction Schwarzenegger’s Audemars Piguet Piece Unique and More at Important Modern & Vintage Timepieces Auction in NYC

On June 8, Antiquorum will be holding their highly anticipated Important Modern & Vintage Timepieces auction at their U.S. headquarters in New York City. The premier watch auctioneer will be offering an exclusive selection of extraordinary watches at the sale – including an Audemars Piguet Grande Complication and a Vacheron Constantin platinum minute-repeating perpetual calendar wristwatch – with exclusive previews of the lots to take place in Los Angeles, Singapore, Shanghai, Hong Kong, and New York.

The piece that has had horology aficionados abuzz is the Audemars Piguet Piece Unique, an incredible timepiece that was made for the company’s 125th Anniversary in 2000. Made for the inaugural Time to Give charity auction that was hosted by Arnold Schwarzenegger and Muhammed Ali, the watch is estimated to bring in between $250,000 and $350,000. The piece is an absolutely brilliant minute-repeating titanium and pink gold wristwatch that features a round button split-seconds chronograph, perpetual calendar with moon phases, and Schwarzenegger’s reverse engraved signature.

Other pieces to be auctioned include the Audemars Piguet Millenary Maserati Anniversary MC 12 Tourbillon and Chronograph, a rare yellow gold Patek Phillipe Ref. 3448 and a Platinum Ref. 5050 with Roman Dial, a Rolex Oyster Stainless Steel Triple-Calendar wristwatch, and more.

The Important Modern & Vintage Timepieces Auction will take place on Wednesday, June 8 with First Session at 11 a.m. and Second Session at 2 p.m. Antiquorum Auctioneers is located at 595 Madison Avenue in New York City.
