Haute Event: Halle Barry Supports the Jenesse Center’s Silver Rose Gala and Celebrity Golf Classic

The Jennese Center is a charitable organization that seeks to aid victims of domestic violence through a strong support system and outreach facilities. Last weekend, they celebrated their loyal contributors, namely Oscar-winner Halle Berry, a major devotee to the cause.

The three-day event began Saturday evening at the exclusive Wilshire Country Club where a reception was held to welcome guests and supporters. The festivities continued Sunday afternoon with an elegant and inspiring award gala at the Beverly Hill Hotel, MC’d by funny-man and multi-talented artist Jamie Foxx.

The special luncheon was accented with a performance by Grammy-award winning R&B singer, Robin Thicke.  Grey Goose was table-side throughout the entire weekend serving refreshing libations to help quell the L.A. heat. A silent auction along with ticket sales helped raise funds for the venerated Jennese House.  Guests returned Monday to the Wilshire Club to cap off the series of celebratory events with a star-studded golf classic.

A remarkable show of celebrity clout included such names as Christina Milian, John Salley, Kevin Farley, Nelsan Ellis, Olivier Martinez, Ruben Santiago-Hudson, Rutina Wesley, Taraji P. Henson, Tatyana Ali and many others.
