The company now has its own magazine, cable network, and radio station. In 2010, Forbes named Bloomberg the 10th richest person in the entire United States, with an estimate net worth of $18 billion. He’s also an active philanthropist; he reportedly donated $254 million to charity in 2009 alone, and this year, he joined several other billionaires in the “Giving Pledge,” vowing to donate most of his wealth to worthy causes.
