Haute Dining: Bahr Ché Opens Up in The Heart of Astor Place

It’s nestled in one of the busiest neighborhoods, just around the corner for Manhattan mainstay Butter. The new Bahr Ché opened its door to insiders for a sneak peek last week. It’s tough to find, but look hard and you wont be disappointed.

The bar, owned by the sweet and bubbly Camille Glickman, pours wine to fit your taste (also from sweet to bubbly). It features high ceilings in a curved space where you can drop in to sip on some vino. You order in quarter and half carafe sizes and the staff is happy to help you choose a wine that will please your palate. They also offer nibbles on the side; choose from an elegant selection of cheeses, charcuterie, pates and chocolate.

Bahr Che is located at 26 Astor Place.
