Kris Jenner has a new credit this holiday season: director. In the new Ferragamo holiday campaign, “The Joy of Loving,” unveiled on October 15, 2026, creative director Maximilian Davis casts the matriarch of the Kardashian-Jenner family in the imagined role of a film director, presenting a cast of real families, both inherited and chosen.
The premise is a nod to the house’s cinematic origins. Jenner opens the films in a short series of documentary-style interviews about how much those family relationships have meant to her own journey. She then presents a series of screen-test auditions that introduce the rest of the cast, who each share their own perspective on the joy of loving. “The joy of loving is worth holding onto,” Jenner said.

The cast is built around kinship as much as fame. Model and activist Paloma Elsesser appears with her brother Sage, a model and musician. The Womack Sisters, the musical trio descended from soul royalty, appear together, and the band Bar Italia is joined by drummer Jezmi Fehmi’s partner, the model and stylist Ch’lita.

Actress and director Joan Chen is joined by her daughter, Audrey Hui; acting coach Nancy Banks appears with her son, actor Benny Buckley; and multidisciplinary creative Sofia Testino brings her dog, Syko. In a run of intimate vignettes, the families embrace as friends, as family and as lovers, before the full cast comes together to celebrate the premiere of their film.

Davis wanted people for whom family holds a personal meaning, and he was specific about how to find them. “It was important to cast real families, and to find real and personal moments between them to capture the joy of loving,” he said.
The theme runs through Ferragamo’s own history. Salvatore Ferragamo built the house on a love of invention and creativity, and on a desire to give his family a better life. His wife, Wanda, carried the legacy forward in the 1960s, and the family now guides its future alongside Davis. “Ferragamo is all about family,” Davis said. “And when I design, I am always thinking about that too: how a collection can be worn by different generations, but also how pieces you love will be held onto and passed down through them.”
Chairman Leonardo Ferragamo framed the campaign in the same terms. “One of the founding values of Ferragamo has always been of beauty that develops from craftsmanship, humanity and joy,” he said. “This campaign is telling that story.”
Clara Cullen directed the films, Ilya Lipkin shot the photography and Miyako Bellizzi styled the cast, with Starkman & Associates as creative agency. The season’s hero pieces run through every frame: the Hug bag, the Cara bag, satin pumps with crystal-embellished Gancini ornaments, the classic Vara ballerina and decorated golden stiletto sandals.
It’s a well-judged piece of casting. Jenner sells the premise in a single frame, and the families do the rest, making a bag or a pair of ballerinas feel like something to keep and pass down rather than simply something to buy.

Davis cast this well. Jenner gets the click, and the real families make the Hug and the Vara feel like things you keep. That is the message a heritage house wants for the holidays.
