Sofitel Miami’s Le Bar the New Happy Hour
It’s always five o’ clock somewhere, and here in Miami, there are plenty of hot spots to unravel, throw back a few shots, and mingle with the professionals. But there are only so many ways to lure the crowds with drink specials, good tunes, 2-for-1s, and cheap booze that after a while, the happy hour scenes become a blur—in more ways than one.
That’s why we’re pleased that Sofitel Miami’s French elegance Le Bar has stepped up Mr. Buffett’s favorite hour with a creative line-up of happy hour specials Monday through Friday and an unusual way of serving premium scotch whisky.
The fancy way of serving Chivas Ritual 18 Year Old whisky is dubbed the Bespoke Ice Drinking Ritual. This precise presentation uses spheres of dry ice that allow the whisky to be served chilled without getting diluted too quickly. Thus the presentation is impressive and the scotch runs smoothly… down into your belly, Ron Burgundy style.
