Haute Event: The Barkley Pet Hotel & Day Spa Grand Opening

The Barkley Pet Hotel & Day Spa hosted an exclusive red carpet event for celebrities and their pets to experience the first look of the luxury hotel. The Barkley, considered the “Ritz-Carlton” for pets, is the only upscale boarding, grooming and day camp facility for dogs, cats, birds and exotics in Los Angeles which is housed alongside the brand new, technologically-advanced Westlake Village Animal Hospital.

The Barkley Hotel offers unique accommodations alongside Rodeo Drive, Planet Hollywoof, (Planet Hollywood for dogs) and The Kodog (The Kodak Theatre for dogs). The Barkley has a full-service day spa offering spa baths, body massages and mud-masks.  The spa also offers pedicures for dogs. Now you can color coordinate with your dog! And don’t worry about your pet’s transportation to the hotel. The Barkley provides A-List transportation via pick-up and delivery service in The Barkley’s VIP PET limousine.

Celebrities and VIP guests enjoyed signature cocktails while touring the custom-designed facility. The most interesting part of the event was the paw ceremony. Celebrity pets got to have their paw prints cemented for their own version of Grauman’s Chinese Theatre and Walk of Fame.
