And Today’s Winner Is…Hautest Film Studio Warner Bros. Picture Group
In our most recent issue of Haute Living Los Angeles, we premiered our Hollywood Power Players feature, identifying the who’s who that are running the industry, and thus, keeping their competition running scared. Some of the names that made our list, proving that they are powerful forces to be reckoned with in Hollywood, include Ari Emanuel, James Cameron, and Ryan Kavanaugh.
From this list, we have developed our Haute Hollywood Awards, highlighting the crème de la crème in categories like actors, actresses, directors, studios, film festivals, and more.
If you have missed these exciting daily announcements, here’s a recap of our winners so far:
- Hautest Actor: Johnny Depp
- Hautest Actress: Meryl Streep
- Hautest Director: James Cameron
- Hautest Agent: Ari Emanuel
Starting off our list for the Haute Hollywood Awards this week is our prize for the Hautest Film Studio.
And the award goes to…Warner Bros. Picture Group
This film studio made it into our print edition because last year it earned $4.01 billion in worldwide box office sales, making it quite the banner year for Warner Bros. Internationally, it is the No. 1 studio, with a 14-percent world market share and a 21-percent share amongst other Hollywood studios. Of course, we all know that the brand is so much more than just a film studio, with its reach extending far into a variety of other industries.
For 2010, the pictures group is expected to break records again with the much-anticipated releases, Sex & the City 2, and Clash of the Titans, the latter of which the studio has recently decided to retrofit in 3-D, given the Avatar buzz and success.
Congratulations Warner Bros.
