Bing Presents the Fourth Annual Shawn “Jay-Z” Carter and Lebron James Two Kings Dinner After Party
The W Hotel in Dallas, Texas saw a take-over worthy of royalty when Two Kings co-hosted the exclusive 4th annual, Bing-sponsored dinner and after party this Saturday, February 13.
The “King of Entertainment,” Shawn “Jay-Z” Carter, and the “King of Sports,” Lebron James, held court over an elite table of CEOS and CMO’s in town for the NBA All-Star Weekend.
Guests such as Diddy, Drake, Gayle King, Jamie Foxx, Jason Kidd, Kobe Bryant, Mario Lopez, Mark Cuban, Regina King, Olivia Munn, and Russell Simmons were personally invited to dinner with a limited edition crystal ticket created specifically for the occasion by Steuben Glass, the world’s finest maker of pure crystal.
These power players enjoyed food fit for a king thanks to the talents of “Top Chef” Tom Colicchio. However, amidst the royal excess was a true feeling of charity as guests discussed ways of giving back. “I never had these sorts of role models growing up,” Jay Z said. “I never had anyone come around and talk to me. I had to figure it out on my own. One of my promises to myself is that I’ll never forget my journey. I’ll always give back and speak to people that are going through the same thing I was going through.”
Following the select dinner was the Two Kings After Party at Ghost Bar, where 500 stars and athletes got down to music by Mick Boogie and Clark Kent. Even royalty lets loose once in awhile, and as Jay Z and Lebron proved on Saturday, they do it with style AND substance.
