Related Group’s Jorge Pérez and sbe’s Sam Nazarian were on hand to break ground for their latest joint project on the books, Hyde Beach House in Hollywood Beach. The party celebrated, not only the groundbreaking, but also the project reaching 70% sold-out to all types of buyers from all over the world excited about the area.

The onsite soiree took place at the project’s chic restaurant, Hyde Beach Kitchen + Cocktails, a first-of-its-kind concept located at the core of the Hyde Beach properties. The development’s trailblazers, Jorge Pérez of The Related Group and Sam Nazarian of sbe, were both in attendance and kicked off the event with opening remarks about the project and their partnership and calling Pérez “a mentor” and adding that “there’s no better privilege and honor to continue this relationship.”

Perez also announced a new partnership allowing buyers who may only be in town for two weeks a year to rent their units. “We’re very proud of this alliance and I think it’ll be a fantastic deal [for future residents.]”

Guests who enjoyed the warm evening and ocean views from the restaurant’s upper deck, were treated to culinary delights from the restaurant’s acclaimed chef, Danny Elmaleh, known for his selection of New American cuisine and an unrivaled mix of creative cocktails. The event also gave guests an opportunity to preview a little bit of the lifestyle that will be offered at Hyde Beach House with a taste of this year’s hottest beachwear trends presented by Babalú.  The store is a fun and trendy gift and accessory store that first opened on Lincoln Road on South Beach and now has shops at The Raleigh and at the Hyde Beach project.
