Haute 100 listers Sean “Puffy” Combs, formerly known as Diddy, has decided to introduce his three daughters to the family business. The father of six has introduced a new affordable clothing line for young girls, which will be his first-ever girls collection since the mogul entered the fashion business.
The Harlem native will be working along side his three daughters—Jessie, D’Lila and Chance—for the Sean John Girls collection. The collection will feature vibrant shirts, shorts, dresses and jackets, ranging from $35 to $100. According to the New York Daily News, the forthcoming pieces will include rocker moto jackets, pastel skirts and lively colored dresses. The young girls’ apparel will be offered in sizes 7-16.
In a statement Puffy said, “I am beyond thrilled to work with my girls on this new endeavor and I look forward in watching them grow with this project. They are young dreamers and will serve as an inspiration to girls everywhere.” He continued, “Jessie, D’Lila and Chance are fashionistas in their own right and creatively, the girls will be integrated into the brand creative as they embark on this venture as hip and stylish young entrepreneurs.”
The budding moguls are all nine-years-old. Chance, who is just four months older than the twins, mother is Sarah Chapman. Jessie and D’Lila’s mother is Kim Porter, who is also the mother of Christian and Quincy.
According to Sean John’s Instagram account, the collection will be available at Macy’s starting today (Thursday, Feb. 25th).
Most recently, Puffy was the host of this year’s Community Inspiring Today’s Youth’s (City) Gala. For those of you unfamiliar with City Gala, it is an event created to support non-profit, charitable organizations. The host foundation, Community Inspiring Today’s Youth’s mission is to provide a structured business development program and ongoing technical support for teens and young adults throughout Los Angeles, and take them full circle from learning a marketable skill/service to completion of the program, resulting in the establishment of their own, fully operational small business.
