Haute 100: Sean Combs to Host City Gala Following the Grammy Awards

Following the 58th Grammy Awards, Haute 100 lister Sean Combs, who has decided to revert back to his former hip-hop name Puffy Daddy, will be hosting this year’s Community Inspiring Today’s Youth’s (City) Gala.

In addition to Combs hosting, Jane Seymour will moderate and Haute 100 lister Sir Richard Branson will deliver the keynote address. Branson, who founded the Virgin Group in 1970, will also host a moderated discussion at the City Gala and present videos produced exclusively for the event.

The black tie fundraiser will be emceed by 98 Degrees’ Jeff Timmons, will feature a poker tournament, a live auction and include live performances from DJ Paul Oakenfold, Robert “Kool” Bell, Chanel West Coast, the Stafford Brothers and DJ Sarah Roberson. Those playing in the poker tournament include Carl Weathers, Charlie Webber, Gilles Marini, James Roday, Kate Flannery, Mark Moses, Travis Van Winkle, Tiffany Michelle, Mike “the Miz” Mizanin, Omar Benson Miller and Paul Johansson.

The live auction will feature a number of haute items such as

In a statement, City Gala executive producer Ryan Long says, “We are honored to have such an incredible roster of distinguished guests joining us to raise visibility for these important charitable causes.”

For those of you unfamiliar with City Gala, it is an event created to support non-profit, charitable organizations. The host foundation, Community Inspiring Today’s Youth’s mission is to provide a structured business development program and ongoing technical support for teens and young adults throughout Los Angeles, and take them full circle from learning a marketable skill/service to completion of the program, resulting in the establishment of their own, fully operational small business.
