During the construction of the massive Dalston Square Development, Alexandra Blum served as artist in residence. During the course of three years, she created several dense charcoal drawings depicting the changes in the area. Her art is done through multiple points of view: from the streets, inside the construction site and within a completed flat on the 17th floor.

A small exhibit of her work is being displayed at the Geffrye Museum, Kingsland Road. The exhibit has recently been extended to Feb. 11. Entrance is free.
