Described by Yanko Design as “a combination of piezoelectric and photovoltaic wizardry”, the new Bristol car concept by Amarpreet Gill is a sleek and sexy innovation in green automaking. The vehicle utilizes technology that harvests energy from the surrounding environment that, in turn, grants the user free energy to be used, shared, or sold.
Under the surface, the vehicle is an extraordinary green machine, acting as a personal tool for the consumer by utilizing a process similar to the way someone may grow fruits and vegetables. By engaging the user as part of the vehicle, one can tweak and tailor the piezoelectric threads based on their current environment to maximize the amount of energy that can be generated during the trip. Now that’s green.
