Brush
You should regularly brush your teeth at least 2-3 times a day. It is very important that you not only brush your teeth but your tongue and gums as well to fully remove all bacteria. Brushing your teeth helps prevent cavities, stimulates the gums helping them to stay healthy, and prevents gum disease.

Floss
Flossing is helpful to remove any food particles in between teeth and helps avoid gum inflammation. Not flossing can cause tooth decay and gum disease which causes plaque build up on teeth and along the gum line. It has been shown that flossing can help remove/prevent plaque.

Mouthwash
Although mouthwash seems like a tedious thing to do. It is very important as it prevents gingivitis and gum disease by killing the bacteria. It helps strengthen the enamel and prevents tooth decay.

Avoid harmful food and drinks
The foods and drinks you choose can affect the health of your gums. If you consume too many sugar-filled and carbonated drinks could put you at risk for tooth decay. Coffee, in especially, can stain your teeth. It is important to keep your enamel healthy.
