This year's reimagined Heart Walk will be the biggest ever, as we bring the experience right to you! You can walk wherever you are, joining 1 million walkers from across the nation. Join the American Heart Association (AHA) on Saturday, November 21, 2020 and get ready to “lace-up” and walk where you are.
Attendees can register at the Miami-Dade Heart Walk Website. By registering and donating participants are getting moving, honoring survivors, and raising lifesaving funds.
Almost half of those hospitalized with COVID-19 are stroke survivors or people with heart disease. They're counting on us now more than ever! Your donations will help fast track research and train front-line workers - while we continue the fight against heart disease and stroke.

About the American Heart Association:
The six cardiologists who founded the American Heart Association in 1924 would be amazed.
From humble beginnings, the AHA has grown into the nation's oldest and largest voluntary organization dedicated to fighting heart disease and stroke. A shared focus on cardiovascular health unites more than 33 million volunteers and supporters as well as more than 3,400 employees.
Heart disease is the No. 1 killer worldwide, and stroke ranks second globally. Even when those conditions don't result in death, they can cause disability and diminish quality of life. The AHA wants to see a world free of cardiovascular diseases and stroke.
The size and scope let them have real impact. The AHA has invested more than $4.1 billion in research, more than any U.S. nonprofit organization.
