My greatest achievement...

My greatest achievement is 18 years of practice built on Trust.  Trust with my Louisville patients, colleagues, and all the professionals I worked with.  I am blessed to have patients who have been coming to me for all these years and who have sent friends, family, and loved ones.  This is the greatest privilege I have had in my life.

The future of my field is...

The future of plastic surgery, and in fact all medicine, will be driven by the language of communication of and between cells in the body.  Specifically advances in DNA, stem cells, exosomes and the intricate signaling pathways of regenerative medicine will drive the greatest treatment options in the future.

The biggest misconception about my field is...

Patients believe they can have customized body parts to look like celebrities or people in media.  They do not realize that most of what they see is digitally fabricated and many fail to appreciate that there are limits to plastic surgery and human biology.

My most requested procedures are...

Perky, firm, full and round breasts & buttocks with an exaggerated curvy body.

What surgical advancements are you most excited about? 

I am most excited about 2 technologies: 

#1 electromagnetic technologies that stimulate muscles and the nervous system in many ways that we have yet to fully understand and harness 

#2 The use of regenerative medicine in enhancing healing and anti-aging procedures. 

What are you best known for?

Creating natural breasts and correcting problems from complicated breast surgery

What is your most memorable patient reaction?

Fixing a severe congenital breast deformity on a very young woman which dramatically changed her self esteem as well as her personal and professional life.  she went from a bashful, self-conscious young girl to a sophisticated editor of the beauty magazine.

What sets my practice apart is…

100% commitment to truth above all else.  My last name derives from the Hebrew and Arabic word for be right, truth and justice.  My entire life I focused on always telling the truth to my patients regardless of my personal best interest.  The truth will set you free!

What I love most about my profession is...

What I love most about plastic surgery is that my colleagues are some of the most intelligent, creative, artistic, diverse, driven men and women I have ever met.  

Career defining procedure?

The Binelli mastopexy is a procedure that attempts to create the most amount of enhancement to the breast with the least amount of visible scars.  It is difficult to use this procedure to make natural and beautiful breasts. I have spent the last 18 years trying to master and perfect it.  

What new services are you excited to offer?

I am most excited about developing a new type of surgical and nonsurgical program that I call performance plastic surgery.  Our goal is to enhance the natural function and beauty of the whole body including men's and women's sexuality and intimacy.  I am working with colleagues in gynecology, urology, regenerative medicine, and fitness and nutrition to develop these protocols over the coming years.
